I've run a speed test, and it said my download speed is greater than 60 Mb/s, but when I go to download a file, it barely exceeds 100kb/s.
And then out of thin air appears the steam update :P damn, anyway I hope after this 3 hour download the launcher doesn't want me to download anything again ^^ But well I'm always drawing the worst case scenarios into my life, and this is just a first world issue. I've recently been noticing my download speeds for files have been very slow. If you own Horizons log in and you will see the option for it there any idea why the launcher, started outside of steam, without the patch, had to sync files before being ready for the update? Why was this sync necessary? I don't get it. However ALL Elite users have just downloaded the (8gb) patch which contains horizons so you don't need to download anything from frontier to get it to work just launch the steam version manually outside of steam and you get the new horizons capable launcher. I have DSL and never had problems with webpages. it seems to detect steam is running and give players the old launcher with no Horizons access. of 2 - Very Slow Web Browsing - posted in Am I infected What do I do: Hi all I have had a problem that started all of a sudden a week ago. Steam just blocks Horizons when you launch it that way. On the other hand I've just realized how I waste my sparse time for something like this. Now I've stopped it and started the download from steam.
